So here I am...27 years old and you all know why I'm here. Actually I'm sure I posted here before about 4 years ago but can't find it. The fact that 4 years have passed and I'm back again says it all!

Anyway, soon I find myself going on my first ever stag weekend and I'm worried. I've heard stories of what goes on, and as a single bloke I should be well keen to get some "action", but for reasons obvious to everyone here, I'm not. But then I fear that if I avoid "action" that I'm going to look like...well, exactly what I am. Anyone here been on a stag trip? Will I be the first person to ever go on a stag without getting laid?!

I thought a stag trip was where a bunch of guys go off to a cabin in the woods somewhere, do fishing or hunting, and drink, drink, drink. They do this to get away from their wives for a few days. I didn't know women were involved.

At the camp I knew about, summer weekends were for families, but during hunting season no women were allowed whatsoever. And there was a lot of drinking.

Apart from that, I have no personal experience of what goes on on those things, and no good advice to give the OP. Actually, my advice would be not to go, but presumably it's past that point.

Everyone on those trips is supposed to be "up for anything", and happy to put themselves into the hands of the best man or whoever's doing the organizing. If that man or the group in general is more experienced or confident than you, then their idea of a once-in-a-lifetime night out is likely to be quite intimidating, stressful, and exposing if you don't have the experience that a 27 year old man is supposed to have.

On the other hand, if they're ordinary men, they're as likely to have sex on a stag weekend as they are on an ordinary night out, which means that most of them aren't going to have sex at all. The most likely itinerary is bar, lap-dancing club, somewhere else for more alcohol, fall into your bed in a budget hotel, if you can find the hotel.

my advice to you is to start drinking heavily.

just have fun fuck shit up, get drunk, get high, leave your car parked in the middle of las vegas blvd. that kinda stuff. Getting laid is the bonus objective for everyone who isn't on the show entourage.

Nightmare scenario, and the one which prompted me to post. Have heard of one stag trip where EVERYONE got laid, regardless of relationship status - even the groom. Have to say I find that completely wrong and would hope it's the exception to the rule.



This scenario I can handle, as long as there is a distinction between lap-dancing and brothels. I'd like to think my friends are ordinary men, and with a bit of moral backbone...but who knows what happens on tour
