Paid them a visit. I got labeled a looksist. I got labeled a looksist. And was subsequently banned. I'd say I lasted a week. I went in with an open mind, didn't go in intending to troll anyone or anything, and posted roughly the same sort of thing I would around here, albeit toned down and censored. Just suggested the idea that looks matter at least a little bit, and that they matter more to men than women. Which seemed to bother a few people. It wasn't even the main focus of my posts. But whatever.

To those of you who dislike some of the posters here, exxie, whitewolf, they're nowhere near as bad as the folks floating around in that place. I'm glad the moderators don't ban people because of philosophical differences. ADMINS/MODs I tip my hat to you. :coolbeans:

And I'm glad we have people like exxie in here to balance us all out, lest we become similarly walled off from conflicting ideas and opinions.

The difference here, is that while everyone is likely wrong to some extent... And personally I think it is likely most people in both of these communities are wrong, (I'm not infallible either). The enormous difference here, being the goal of allowing each other to be equally wrong, without a mission statement promoting a specific ideal and attacking others who may not agree.

So I wanted to thank you all for the forum. No matter how much I might disagree with the average person here, your intentions are in the right place in attempting to promote a more equal dialog between people without the administration taking sides and forcing their political views on others.

Man I am so glad I came across this thread because a lot of people are confirming what I've been thinking all along! That whole forum reminds me of the movie One Flew OVer the Cuckoos nest with Jack Nicholson. The moderators/admins/veteran members represent all the staff, doctors, orderlies, etc. They intend to rule with an iron fist under the guise of political correctness and don't really care if the other members succeed. The regular members, or the bulk of the board, represent all those quirky patients in the movie that want help but the administration wants to keep them in the sedentary, inhibited state. Then there's the newer members that try to offer really good advice that is a bit out there in terms of the nature of the board, but nonetheless is decisive and extreme enough to help one person. These guys are like the Jack Nicholson character.....of course, they usually get banned because they can't follow the "hospital"'s rigid dictating hierarchy. And Lacuna is Nurse Ratched :twisted:

Was banned at the Incel Forum after TWO posts. A female poster said in her reply to my first post that "she felt threatened" by my post.

in my second post, I disagreed with a view by "Feminist" Susan Faludi (who I have MET personally btw, she spoke at my college) and that finished me there.

Much happier here aside from a few posters who have ZERO business being here.

Well well...looks like I got temp-banned for posting that SAME thread I posted here about the job market. Near verbatim. It's only for a month, but I haven't been banned from any place since I was 14 years old haha. The reason was making sexist and racist comments. I also had some posts a few months backed say that I opposed multiculturalism. I don't think I'm going to go back there anymore anyway...

Wow, I see not much has changed. They are getting more skillful at this though. I have a foggy memory that last time they didn't even give the guy fair warning first, but they probably realized that made their image look bad so it's time to keep up appearances.

I must admit, I've almost grown a begrudging respect for how far these people can go in trying to hide their agenda to keep the 'fakeness' alive. That website is an ingeniously designed trap for lonely guys to either be berated or reconditioned into some kind of dickless wonder, while simultaneously serving the purpose of venting the anger of some very bizarre people.

What I'm not sure of, is if it's actually cleverness and if I should respect it, or if it's more like a spider and it's web. Some kind of weird dick cutting animal instinct, like the black widow.

Either way, that shit is a cut or two well above feminism, and deserving of social studies.

I'd like to see the forum shut down, myself. It's horrible how people go there, thinking they'll get help, and they get this crap!

That thread got closed just from talking about a link between incel and suicide?!?! Some things need to be talked about and examined, how can they run an incel forum when it's that policed.

The Incel forum is the only forum I have been banned on. I have been surfing the net since 1993, and have belonged to many forums, pages, communities. Incel banned me within three days of joining.
