Don't get your hopes up. If you do this route, make sure you get a guy. A female therapist will make you feel worse, guilt you, and backhand you and make your situation worse. Like the above poster said, most female therapists when it comes to this have no clue.

Absolutely. I think in general it is best to have a therapist of your own sex. As it makes it easier for the therapist to understand you. Especially when it comes to something like relationship and love issues.
