I googled it and came up with Dynamic Source Routing. That surely is not it.

Sorry, new to the lingo.

Oh, it's a game, Dead Sheep Racing. Everyone plays it, everyone is expected to play it, and those who don't are seen as weirdos. But the thing is, you can't play it alone. And some people spend their entire lives waiting for a partner to play with.

Okay here's the real answer: http://www.love-shy.com/lswiki/DSR

haha...for a second there I thought I was some sort of freak for not playing Dead Sheep Racing! You should patent that by the way.

It happened I believe three times in my adult life. Two of them by women. Fortunately, I got my virginity out of the way at 16.

Not that I recall, but I would not have a problem with answering honestly.

I've had somebody ask indirectly.

So, a little background, first. I live in an area of mostly white people. I've never had a girlfriend. I'm a virgin. I was 23 years old at the time.

I was working one time, and this other guy I work with asks "Have you ever had sex with a black girl?"

Oh, fuck. I'm thinking. I feel a bit nervous about what might be coming after this. I say, "Nope."

"Ever had sex with an asian?" he asks.

I say "Nope" My heart is now racing and I feel the anxiety taking full effect.

"Ever had sex with a white chick?" he says, and chuckles a bit.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. I am a terrible liar, and I was trying to keep my incel a secret, so I say, in a really sarcastic tone, "Sure." Of course he doesn't believe me, I didn't really do anything to make it sound convincing.

"You're still a virgin?!" he whispers, and shakes his head. At least he had the decency to not blurt it out loudly so customers could hear.

I just stood there feeling completely worthless, and not looking at him. He gave up on asking any more questions, though. I'm pretty sure he went around and told some of the other guys at work though.

Several weeks later at work, the topic came up again, and I remember them saying how I was still a virgin or something and I just said "Yeah, it's a fuckin tragedy, but what are you gonna do about it," in a very hostile tone. Nobody pursued the topic further.

******

More recently, one of my managers at my new job asked me if I have a girlfriend.

I said "Nah, I don't" casually.

He replies "You just fuck mad bitches, I gotcha." EDIT: I don't know if you guys are aware of the slang "mad" which means "a lot of" or "many" in this case

I was thinking about how this could be no further from the truth and just said "Yeahhh" facetiously.

So that was fun.

This story sounds so familiar. I remember one time when I was working at a landscaping job when I was 20 (I'm 41 now) and, during downtime, a couple co-workers who were my age asked me how old I was when I lost my virginity. I hadn't lost my virginity at that point but I didn't want to say so. I quietly said, "eighteen", thinking that was average. They gave me a shocked looked and blurted, "You waited until you were eighteen?!!"

Very awkward.

How many people actually "wait" anyway?

Seriously, they seem to think that anybody at any time can just decide to have sex. And, in all honesty, I probably could've lost my virginity on 2 or 3 occassions, but it would've been with somebody I wasn't attracted to, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Firstly, welcome to the forum ASmart Kid! :)
Secondly, it isn't really anyone's business whether you're a virgin or not. Don't let people hassle you about it
Thirdly, couldn't help but notice your sig. Are you, by any chance, named after one of my favourite Porcupine Tree songs, A Smart Kid? :) :P

Thanks, Adam. I try not to let it bother me too much. I feel like the moment just before they find out is worse than them actually knowing. Once the people at work found out, they generally left me alone about it or just felt bad for me. I think the most discouraging fact is that I am fairly certain that I am objectively more attractive than a lot of the people who are not virgins, which leaves me wondering "what is wrong with me?" and "If this ugly man can find a decently attractive woman, why can't i?"

Also, I am most definitely named after the Porcupine Tree song. Glad to hear you are a fan!

nope, somehow i have remained undetected(atleast i think). i mean guys have interrogated other guys around me about their sexual history, but never me. i just try to act like one of the guys , im known as the guy who always has a good crude joke to tell. but i do kind of give half truths when they do ask how i'm doing with the ladies,i might tell them i havent been laid in 6 months.which is true because i've never been laid :D

Nope, never been asked if I was.

If I were ever though, I'd say yes, I am. Then if they press me more as to why, I'd tell em, "I'm not ready yet, is there a problem?"

^Good for you, RCD. It's no one's business, really, but yours.

People of both genders have asked me if I'm a virgin several times before, and I always answer honestly: yes.

I'm not particularly ashamed of being a virgin. I mean I'm not proud of it or anything, but I'm not embarrassed about it either. I'm technically incel, but just barely. I'd like to have sex at least once in my life just to know what the experience is like, but honestly by "sex drive" is far less than that of the average guy. I don't really get sexual urges, I don't feel the need to masturbate, etc. I'd like to have sex at least once just to see what I'm missing, but I'm not obsessed with it or anything.

I'm jealous of you. I sometimes wish I had a lower sex drive because I pretty much want to jump anything with two legs. Low sex drive makes it easier to deal with the being sexless part of incel.
