I don't think so. I think I would remember if someone had asked though! Always been a bit terrified of being asked this question, I've been asked if I was gay by a parent once.... that was fun. btw not that I have any issue with homosexuality, I just feel a person's sexuality is a very private thing, and not something I particularly want to be challenged on, unless I decide to disclose otherwise.

Yeah anyway... not sure what my reaction would be, depends who was asking I suppose. If it was an old or close friend (not that I have any of those these days tbh...), I might answer truthfully (being yes). If it was someone I felt I could confide in, and would actually offer some support or a mature reaction (how do you deal maturely with virginity?! thats an interesting one lol) I might answer truthfully. As many have said its usually obvious when a person is lying about something, so it doesn't really matter!!

I don't know how I'd react if by some bizarre miracle, I actually got into a relationship with a girl, and she asked me. Now thats a tough one, but I guess you could only be honest otherwise theres no point in starting a relationship anyway... would just have to choose 'the right girl' for this to not totally backfire though!

Actually, when I tell people who vaguely know me that I have no girlfriend, many of them jokingly accuse me of being a "player" or a "crook" who messes with a lot of girls, but doesn't want to have a relationship. Obviously, this is not the case. People think I'm hiding things from them when there is nothing to hide.

My brother mocked me the other day in front of the rest of my immediate family, saying I was only a few years away from being a 30-year old virgin. I had to just ignore it so that it wouldn't become a big deal but it annoyed me. It's also awkward to respond to as I don't like actually confirming it, but tbh, my family must know.

I know I shouldn't be expecting other people to fix my problem, but if I was in his position and could see my brother obviously having issues getting a relationship, then I'd try and help him - not embarrass him in front of family.

Nah, you're saying that from a position of someone who is well...approaching being a 30 year old virgin. Can't compare. First thing you ought to do is confront you brother about his actions. It's blood so you don't want to damage that relationship (family should stand together), but yeah, if he persists after you talk to him, then you should block him off.

Girls can probably smell 'virgin' all over me. They have no need to ask.
