Inside The World Of Online Retail: What It’s Like To Be A Warehouse Worker

http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/inside-world-online-retail-warehouse-worker-130235671.html

This bitch should try the working world of driving a truck for a living, if she wants to know what REAL work is. :check:

I guess you can find thousands of people who would be happy to be a truck driver too, I mean, you can make everything relative. I'm a translator, I would find fucking hard to be a manual worker, I could also make a paper about it and it doesn't mean it's the WORST job EVER either. Unless you go digging in factories using kids labor in the bottom of Asia, it's kind of useless to always mention that "Niania I have it worse, the fat fucking bitch, how dares she experiencing something else than her daily job and say it's hard".

Cry me a river, pal. I don't like what women in real life say and do to men. This bitch
has no idea what real work men like me do. She is weak if she thinks she had it bad
working in a warehouse.

Try working out in 100 plus heat, in minus freezing cold, climbing tall ladders with 50
pounds in one hand, breathing cancer causing agents, having no time to
eat lunch and having to work lots of unpaid hours. I could easily add more, but you
just wish to obfuscate the issue by complaining about a few words we use, as if women
never call men disparaging words, correct?

I don't even see why it upsets you. It's just a work experience, she says it's hard, not "it's impossibly hard" or "there is nothing worse, truck drivers have it easy". She's a journalist making a paper on a subject, she's not there to prove that once and for all working in a warehouse is the worst job ever .

I think it's good that people discover other things, I guess she never worked in such environment and what's wrong, really, what's wrong with making a paper / experiencing the life of a worker in a job industry that's never mentioned otherwise and usually looked down upon?

I worked in a warehouse once. Granted, it was only a week - but you dont need to work there long to know the score.

The real deal with warehouses is how women and men are paid the same but the women do almost nothing compared to men.
The women end up being pickers. They walk around and pick stuff up, go back and plastic wrap it, stick a label on a box and rinse and repeat.

The men are first level loaders etc... picking up heavy boxes and carrying them down ladders etc.

At lunch time, the guy I worked with was streaming in sweat and wiping his brow as much as he was eating (as was I), while the women were all prim and dandy with hardly a sweat bead on their delicate features.

Remember - the pay was the same.

Well I've worked in a warehouse before, not a fulfillment center, and it's no cake walk. No AC in the summer, heated to slightly above freezing during the winter, all manual labor. It really depends on the specific warehouse one works in. Some are like those fulfillment centers, some are more like where I worked moving boxes, reels of cabling and copper or yes menial stocking. When not stocking I was assembling products for industrial use or running the Shipping and Receiving station. Is it the hardest work? Of course not. But was I frolicking around having a grand ole time?

I actually think its good she was exposed to that type of work. While it wasn't the worst job, it was at least an eye opener to someone who probably had it easy most of her life.

Yeap, not that work is the same as war, but women do not have to fight wars, and
the majority of them do not work in third party logistics warehouses either, much
less in dangerous occupations like trucking, one of the top ten killers in men's jobs.

what about what men say and do to women??

men are not saints! both genders are guilty for calling each other names.

whether this woman is moaning or not, there is no need to call her a bitch. she is a person with feelings. with what i have read here here on this forum, women get called nasty things said about tthem. it's wrong.

The vast majority of people here are men, because Love-Shyness and Incel do not effect women to the degree that they
do men. You are a newcomer and for all I know you are a female to boot.

If you think "bitch" is a "bad" word you haven't seen or heard much in life have you?

FYI, Bitches were responsible for my love-shyness, not men. That was wrong too, wasn't it? :check:

Take a long walk off a short pier, "fighter".

You need to understand that I have heard women using swear words for most of my life,
then maybe you will understand why using the word "Bitch" is means very little to me, if
the lady deserved it.

You have a nice day too, fighter.
