LOL! I love it. Americans teaching Brits (who have that gorgeous accent) how to pick up women. What's next? Seriously.

Where in the video do they talk about the LS? Where do they talk about the big dude dropping weight, not just for getting more physically attractive but for just health reasons, and general principles?

Seduction School...........these dating coaches will always be around to tell you what's wrong with you.

When do they tell women that since we live in a socialistic, equal society, how about you approach a guy if you like him?

The short guy (5'2") walks like a dwarf, and yet he's only 2 inches shorter than I am. I wonder if I look that way to other people. Oh god. :oops:

I've only watched up to part 3 so far. I don't want to discourage anyone who wants to try approaching (I actually admire those who are brave enough to try it)... although I really don't see the point in it. I don't see why you would want to get a girlfriend by approaching instead of using dating sites or some other, more personality-oriented method... But that's just me.

I also find it ironic that the PUAs are all like "looks don't matter" and yet they tell all the guys to go after pretty girls only. :roll:

Im 5'2 and so am exactly like him, and very close to you.

It just reinforces that people process things differently. But that leaves one feeling really really weird. Having a puzzle that is intrinsically unsolvable for example. When most guys get a girl interested in them, they subconsciously get a mental picture of how it looks from the outside thereby integrating it with what other parts of their brain are telling them.

For example, if Advanced (6'2) got a beautiful girlfriend - he would think its because hes tall. Quite possibly he would have to think that.
The point is while thats what we think. Reality is independent of our mental constructs. Most people don't really face this fact much. A fact that leads to permanent cognitive dissonance.

It just reinforces that we don't really know what/how women think, but also that we need the illusion that we do. Quite a trip.

An easy target = someone who cannot fight back. Even if physical violence is not used, proxies like standing too close, flexing muscles etc revive subconscious fears of being beaten up from the past. All this is related to size.

Good looking face = maybe inspires admiration from females, and jealousy from men. A good looking average sized guy would face minimal bullying from men because on a one to one level they would not be able to intimidate. So becoming an easy target to men is once again related to size.

Which leads back to race. Which leads back possibly to female choice isn't as big a factor that people make it out to be.

when a short guy can get more chicks than you and your self esteem is based on your height/masculinity...

that a lot more people have sociopathic mental philosophies when it comes to getting what they want ... thats

I've always said with this seduction school crap that a good-looking guy like the instructor there (I believe he goes by the name "Gambler") can't teach guys who are well-below average jack-shit when it comes to attracting women, because women will react differently to them based on the intial reaction to their physical looks.

As for the series, I've watched it about 3 or 4 times back in the day, and the overweight and short guy just cannot be helped, no matter how hard someone tries to. Maybe by guys who look like them and have had some degree of success, but not by some good-looking PUA. And it had nothing to do with the personality of the overweight or short guy - women outright rejected them based on their outward appearances - something the PUAs refused to address in their case, and something that was quite obviously the main sticking point with these guys.

True, being tall (I am ony 1.7 metres tall or 5"7), does not guarantee success with women, but it does give you an advantage, as many women do prefer tall men.

Nailed it Coby!!, and I recall watching this particular Youtube video back in mid 2008, and lo and behold, guess what happened?, none of the three guys had any success. The tall guy had a bit of make out with a drunk bar slut in a pub, but no sex/or long term relationship.

These fucking PUAs make used car salesmen and politicians look honest in comparison, if the PUA industry had any credibility/or ethics, they would refuse to take the money from ugly/or very overweight men, when these PUAs know full well that ugly guys have no chance.

Two of the guys were from the North (England) and one from the city I live in (actually some of the scenes are shot here). I got in contact with him last year - he was just about to get married. He also said that the experience did help him with his confidence.

The point of the programme wasnt about PUA but body image. It was illustrating that self-image significantly affects your interactions with others (ie women) meaning that there is some bit that you can definiately change - ie how you see yourself.

How you see yourself is one thing, but if you believe you're a good looking don Juan when you're not, that's just damn delusional.

Also, you cannot really create you own reality. How you see yourself may not be the same as how women see you. You can change, but the confidence doesn't come from the changes you make, but it rather comes from the reactions you get from the other sex after you make these changes.

Inner confidence in my book basically comes from the positive strokes you receive about yourself from outside sources i.e. external validation is what creates true confidence. You can create as much inner confidence as you want, but at the end of the day success in the real world is judged by how much external validation you are getting, regardless of how much inner confidence you may have.

You are right that: you can be delusional about thinking you are Brad Pitt or someone; you can also be delusional about thinking you look like Kwazi-moto (the Japanese hunchback) when you do not.

Many people have an exaggerated negative self-image and this is how they think others see them; they have created their own reality and it is sabotaging their happyness. How women see them is entirly different as females are chasing indicators of dominance (being tall can be a "dominant" trait).

For women, this is far worse as they think men focus only on "beauty"; anorexia is a sad case in point - such girls think they are fat when everyone else sees them as painfully thin.

Its not about pretending to be God's gift, but about realising you arn't a freak

I had a feeling the tall guy was going to be the most likely candidate to succeed out of the 3 guys. And the reason is rather obvious, he is the best looking out of the 3 guys shown in that documentary.

With the other 2, they are going to struggle with women, the fat guy needs to get his arse in a gym and lose a lot of weight. As for the short guy, he really has his work cut out for him if he is going to have any luck with women.
