I am a keen Scrabble player. I have just realised the word 'loveshy' is not in the Scrabble dictionary (though I know it often has a hyphen). Neither is 'incel'. So these words are not permissible in Scrabble, though the Scrabble dictionary has just about every obscure word there is.

But these words are relatively recent creations. As the Scrabble words are drawn from a selection of recognised dictionaries, is it maybe time to get words like 'loveshy' and 'incel' in the dictionary?

"love-shy" is a hyphenated word, and thus not eligible by Scrabble's rules.

If "loveshy" was a word in its own right, then it would be.
