So, is this normal? Getting serious oneitis with your first kiss? I swear, over the past forty eight hours, I have experienced the full range of human emotions.

My first kiss was with a woman I didn't consider a potential girlfriend (and vice-versa). First held hands with another one and I didn't really care about her. While it was a nice experience, I had the feeling I'm *forcing* myself to that not because I really like this girl, but I want to *learn* intimate things. Duh, quite frustrating. I wasn't able to have sex this way, even when there was opportunity.

And the night I first kissed, a drunken man attacked me after I refused to give him some money and broke my nose (on my way home in night bus). I must be that karma thing

It's sad that you happened to fall in love with someone who cannot reciprocate, but hopefully the experience has made it easier for you to initiate with someone else.

Whenever I see someone make such a statement, it always bothers me. Because, if a girl or guy isn't married, then that person is obviously technically single, regardless if they are currently dating 0 persons, 1 person or 10 persons. If someone is not married, then that person is technically free to date whomever he/she wants.

Just because she hasn't chosen to partake in a legally/religiously sanctioned marriage doesn't mean she's not committed. There are many valid alternatives to marriage.

You are missing the point. The point is not whether a girl (or guy) is committed or not, but whether that person is TECHNICALLY single. If a girl just has boyfriend (and is not married to him) then TECHNICALLY she is single. That is a fact.
