Most people look foward to them. They depress and anger me, more so than I am when I at least have my work to occupy me during the week.

Just curious if anyone else dreads fridays as much as me.

No I don't dread the weekend, because I fucking hate my asshole boss, and its not just me everyone can't stand the fucker, he is a monumental moron, I actually heard him say one day and I quote "I'm tired of supporting all these people" and he was talking about the people that work for him, um hey dumbfuck if you don't have employees you don't have a company, it the employees that make you money shit for brains, he doesn't understand why we don't worship the ground he walks on, gee I think its because you treat us like something brown and nasty you stepped in

MOTHERFUCKER 凸(`0´)凸man I hate that guy.
Ok rant over sorry

I freelance....so sometimes I actually work all weekend. Sunday I go to church (Holiness Meeting) and adult Sunday school. Sometimes I volunteer on Sundays.

Usually my always free day is "monday"

I actually look forward to them, a lot. Mind you, most of them I don't tend to do much, but even on those that I do nothing all weekend, I like relaxing after a week at work.

I'm rather indifferent about it. I currently work through the "weekends". I'm pulling in the green from 2pm to 10pm on Wednesday and 10pm to 6 the following morning on Thursday through Sunday. The other day and a half, I typically sleep or lurk the forum when I'm awake.

I'm in vacation right now (2 weeks) ans I'm looking forward to start working again because I'm bored and it let me too much time to think about my condition.

I get to not wake up several hours earlier than my body demands. i'm not obligated to go somewhere to do something unpleasant, or to be asleep by a reasonable time. weekends, relatively speaking, are freedom. Although I can still see it from your context.

I work Thursday through Monday almost every week. My "weekend" is usually Tues and Wednesday. My job is tough in that everyone's free time, vacation time, is when I work the most. I work every holiday, and last year I couldn't even go see fireworks on the 4th. But, it pays my bills for the moment. I'd love to have a 9-5 (Monday - Friday) benefits paid, weekends off, 2 weeks vacation in the summer, and all that jazz.

It doesn't happen. I'm single and that translates to my employers that I can work longer and more often than those with families. Who comes in when everyone calls out? I do. Why? Because some people forget that this is still a recession, and I've yet to see it get better. The cost of living just goes up and up, and I'm looking at the gas tank and saying, WTF...50 dollars for something that used to cost me 20 dollars to fill up.
