A white knight is a man who defends an undeserving woman's honor, or the honor of an undeserving womanhood. The woman in question need not be bad; she may simply be the recipient of undeserved defense in a rational argument. Such behavior by a man is undesirable pedestalizing behavior that should be minimized, as it patronizes both men and women.
